which is 83.8% EVA.


Ribbon won't help you here. There's no way to cancel the negative effects of the shield.

On the other hand, because the statuses are on-equip and not cast, they can exist concurrently 
with their opposites; whether those opposites are cast or equipped doesn't matter.

As such, casting or equipping Haste on a character with the shield will cause them to move 
at normal speed.

Casting or equipping Regen will more than counteract Sap, as long as the character is 
over level 30. 

There's nothing to be done about the Poison, although the higher level the character, 
the bigger chunk Regen will take out of the Poison damage.

Also, despite listing the shield as 90% EVA on the equipment menu, 2 or more Shield Block 
augments (or the Gauntlets by themselves) will raise Physical Evasion to 100%, 
so about the only thing doing damage to a character is the Poison,. which is both 
predictable and manageable.


The Ribbon doesn't work on the Ensanguined Shield. You need equipment that counters the effects specifically. For Slow, you would need the Haste Accessory. For Poison, you would need the Regen Equipment. And there is noting to counter Sap.
